Below you can download samples of several different styles of dashboards produced for clients by KDPaine & Partners. These are actual reports for different types of real organizations. However, all data is intentionally modified to ensure anonymity.

Media Analysis Report September-December

Controversies in both destinations color this fall’s coverage...
Land-use controversies dominated this period’s coverage. For Italy, the news primarily focused on the lengthy approval process of the Luther Forest Park project. For Ireland, the news focus was on the Oak Hill PILOT agreement. In fact, 60% of all the articles about Ireland this period mentioned Oak Hill and the PILOT controversy. Additionally, CNNMoney aired a story about industrial development in the area which boosted overall exposure.

Internal Communications Dashboard

The volume of communications is up this month, mostly from Business Updates...
By far the largest volume of communications comes from Business Updates, which is appropriate given that Business Updates rank third in terms of importance by employees. Of some concern is that Employee Services rank second in overall importance among employees and yet they were the least frequent form of communications. It should also be noted that Departmental Updates rank highest among employees, and yet were relatively absent in March and June.

McDonald's Dashboard

The value of reporter outreach for communicating McDonald's messages has continued. As key executives spend more time with reporters, message
communications continues to increase. Key message communication is far more evident in articles written by reporters who have interviewed McDonald’s executives than those who have not.

Howard Dean for America

Dean dominates media in key primary states...
With 42% share of Democratic candidate discussion, the Dean campaign clearly trounced its rivals in the media in most of the key primary states in the pre-Labor day timeframe. With the exception of South Carolina, where Senator John Edwards clearly had an advantage, Dean dominated both print and broadcast coverage consistently.

Message communications increased this quarter as a result of a more integrated global effort...
Clifford Chance was highly successful this period in terms of positioning itself as a global leader. However, Skadden, Arps garnered the largest share of exposure this half as a result of its win in the Merrill Lynch case. While the firm received widespread coverage for its success, it was significantly less successful in communicating its messages. Fresh-fields continues to be the least visible of the competing firms.
